I have been a Private Investigator in Australia since 1997 and my background prior to that once included finding people for a British government organisation.

Over the years I have owned a number of Private Investigation businesses, including one called Find-A-Person.

My Private Detective work includes only things which I enjoy, excel at and have a passion for.

I am not a "Jack of all trades" Private Eye and I do not take on work to sub contract out to others.

Any cases referred to me are handled by me personally and I possess a current State Government issued Private Investigator licence which is subject to yearly security vetting prior to being renewed.

My clients & cases have included: government organisations, both large (including multinationals) and small companies, private individuals, banks, telecommunications providers, insurance companies, solicitors, TV & current affairs shows, radio stations, newspapers & magazines, credit unions, debt collectors, charge card & credit card companies, and other private investigators. I have also found people sought by, and given other assistance to, LEO's (Law Enforcement Officers).

In 2009 I found a person who, subject to a court order requiring the return of a child to the custodial parent, had disappeared, taking the child with her.

Both the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and the Queensland Police Service (state police - QPS) were seeking the pair (mother and child), yet had been unable to locate them (despite the state police having made inquiries in the country town where I later located the subjects). The family (custodial) sought private assistance in desperation, hence my involvement. Once I located the subjects, the police were informed and arrangements made to transport the child to the custodial parent.

Note: Both the AFP and QPS are under resourced and have too much to do. This is exacerbated by a multitude of unnecessary and time wasting requirements and procedures. They are not allowed to talk about it. I am.
